Wayang Painting
The Balinese wayang paintings below are by artists other than Ketut Madra. These works, all in the recent exhibition “Ketut Madra and 100 Years of Balinese Wayang Painting,” are by wayang painters from the late 19th century to the present. Many of these works are in Museum Puri Lukisan and other private collections. Most of the artists are from the Ubud area or from Kamasan, the village south of Klungkung that has been a major center of traditional arts in Bali for hundreds of years. The numbers on each entry refer to the catalog and exhibition numbers.
